This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and is equipped with a bronze wear ring. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. The design uses a dry shaft configuration and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are included on both suction and discharge connections, and the pump uses ANSI Class 125 flanges.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor with a TEFC enclosure and a NEMA 256 frame. The electrical configuration is 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with a Y-Delta starting option. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a coupler guard. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. This equipment has a PEI of 0.92 and an HI Energy Rating of 8.
