This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 182T frame. The motor utilizes an ODP enclosure and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding and configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler to connect the pump and motor, and the system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
