This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 250°F. The construction incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump is powered by a 25 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in a NEMA 284T frame with a TEFC enclosure. This unit operates on 380/60/3 power and features an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a guard. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding to protect the internal components. This pump achieves a PEI of 0.94.
