This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft configuration and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 230-460/60/3 TEFC WEG motor housed in a NEMA 256 T frame. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and connects to the pump via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan. This model is configured for across the line starting and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, with a PEI of 0.92.
