This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design utilizes a dry shaft to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 256T NEMA frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
