This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This model operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure, NEMA 145 T frame, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods flexible coupler. The bearing frame utilizes greasable ball bearings. This pump meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.85.
