This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. It is equipped with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This model is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F and uses greasable bearings. The pump casing includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 184T frame. The system is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power with across-the-line starting. The pump and motor are mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and MG1-12.55 requirements. This pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and has a DOE PEI of 0.85.
