This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and 3" discharge, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is equipped with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM motor frame style with feet. It is configured for a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and operates at 1750 RPM. This configuration includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit is provided with a standard across-the-line starting option, a 40 °C ambient temperature rating, and no drip cover. This pump operates with a PEI value of 0.9.
