This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a bronze wear ring, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft, a rear pullout configuration, and top center line discharge. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation. The pump operates at temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting configuration is across the line. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient environment, standard NEMA configuration, and CCW rotation. This pump has a PEI value of 0.89.
