This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is equipped with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the pump shaft and the system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing the internal components without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting.
This unit is configured with a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. It utilizes a 182 JM motor frame with feet and is compatible with a 230/460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and meets NEMA standards. The motor provides premium efficiency and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The standard rotation is CCW.
