This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump assembly accommodates fluid temperatures up to 250°F and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and simplified piping layouts.
The pump is driven by a 40 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 324JM frame style with feet. It operates on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements, including MG1-12.55 compliance with AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features a 40°C ambient temperature rating and a counter-clockwise rotation. This pump has a PEI value of 0.89.
