This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design utilizes a dry shaft that prevents contact with the circulating fluid and features flush seal line taps to allow for filter installation.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP TEFC Baldor motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and is mounted in a JM frame with feet. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump assembly utilizes an across-the-line starting option and maintains an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C. The unit has a PEI of 0.89. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing the system piping.
