This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with center-line discharge and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate a dry shaft design, which isolates the shaft from circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 182 T-frame style. The power configuration is 380/60/3 with across-the-line starting. It includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly uses sealed-for-life ball bearings and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
