This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve, supporting a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is configured for maintenance access without disturbing system piping and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 184T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards as defined by MG1-12.55. The equipment is rated for 40°C ambient operating conditions and holds a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
