This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and a 3" discharge connection. The pump is constructed with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents system fluid contact with the shaft, while the mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and flush seal line taps to accommodate optional filtration for open systems. The rear pull-out design and top centerline discharge simplify service and piping alignment.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor complies with NEMA standards, utilizes a 256JM frame with feet, and features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 requirements with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump functions at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
