This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump design includes a top center line discharge and a rear pullout configuration to allow servicing without disturbing system piping. It uses a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter, and integrated pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The motor is mounted in a 254JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly meets NEMA standard efficiency requirements, adheres to MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and maintains a 40 °C ambient rating. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
