This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in temperatures up to 250°F. The casing features center-line discharge and is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power and utilizes a NEMA 254 T frame. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding, a welded base with an integrated drip pan, and a Woods coupler with a coupler guard. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55. This equipment is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.93.
