This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. Flush seal line taps are included for the installation of a filter.
This unit is configured with a 30 HP Baldor motor in a 286 JM frame with feet and an ODP enclosure. The motor operates at 1750 RPM with a power supply of 230-460/60/3 PH and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.92. It is configured for across the line starting and functions in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C. The assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
