This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes a bearing frame equipped with greasable bearings and is configured for clean water applications.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor motor in a 326 T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure, premium efficiency, and AEGIS shaft grounding. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard covering a Woods coupler. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and follows NEMA standards. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
