This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and provides flush seal line taps. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump uses a 15 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. It operates at 3450 RPM and is configured in a 215 JM motor frame style with feet. The motor features an ODP enclosure and operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is rated for 40°C ambient temperature with standard CCW rotation. This pump configuration maintains a PEI value of 0.9.
