This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits servicing of internal components without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 284 JM frame with feet and operates on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. The pump uses an across-the-line starting option and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
