This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections, and the pump includes flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 286 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a coupler guard. This motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55, and it includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.92.
