This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design, which prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the stainless steel shaft, protected further by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Engineered for operation at 125 PSI, the pump includes a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components for thermal performance up to 250°F. The casing integrates gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections for pressure monitoring and a drain port at the base.
Powered by a 40 HP premium efficiency ODP motor operating at 1750 RPM, the assembly integrates Aegis grounding and utilizes a 380-460V, 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
