This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring, and it is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F in clean water applications.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213T NEMA frame with an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and an across the line starting option. The unit includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, an OSHA, and a bearing frame with greasable bearings. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding for use in a 40°C ambient environment. The pump carries a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
