This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Sealed-for-life ball bearings are housed within the bearing frame to support the rotating assembly.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP, 230-460V, 3PH motor. The Baldor motor features a NEMA 254T frame, ODP enclosure, and meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a protective guard. This configuration utilizes across-the-line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
