This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a slip-on shaft sleeve to isolate the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting. This pump operates at temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP, 1750 RPM motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. The motor is a Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency unit that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and features a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across the line starting. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and is configured for CCW rotation. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
