This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge connection. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The pump assembly includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This motor is a NEMA T-frame 182, configured for 230-460/60/3 power input. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A standard Woods coupler connects the motor to the bearing frame, which features greasable bearings. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.85.
