This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. It includes a bronze wear ring, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 electrical supply and utilizes across the line starting. The motor is a NEMA T-frame 182 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler and greasable bearings. The unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
