This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal bronze impeller. It uses a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft, which is covered by a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor Super E motor with an ODP enclosure and a 256 frame. It is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The assembly is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI value of 0.92 and an HI Energy Rating of 8. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
