This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections, and the bearing housing contains permanently lubricated sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 frame. It utilizes a 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and supports across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets EISA efficiency standards. It has a DOE PEI of 0.94 and an HI Energy Rating of 6. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
