This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge port. The unit includes an 11-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and flush seal line taps to permit the installation of a filter. The rear pullout design allows for service without disconnecting the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor. It is configured for a 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor features an ODP enclosure, a 213JM frame style with feet, and a 40°C ambient rating. This unit complies with NEMA standards and meets MG1-12.55 efficiency requirements. It has a PEI rating of 0.95 and does not include a drip cover. The top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts and assists with self-venting.
