This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor configured on a JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 200/60/3 PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and premium efficiency ratings compliant with MG1-12.55. The pump has a PEI of 0.83.
