This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. A mechanical seal is used, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is configured without a wear ring.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 184T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across-the-line starting and a counter-clockwise rotation. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.91.
