This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a rear pullout design and a dry shaft configuration that isolates the pump shaft from circulating system fluids. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 284 JM motor frame style with feet and operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump uses an across-the-line starting method and is rated for 40°C ambient temperature conditions. The assembly complies with NEMA standards and is set for counter-clockwise rotation.
