This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 8" suction and 6" discharge connections, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is equipped with an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration assists with venting and piping alignment.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP WEG motor in a 286 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM with a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The unit features across-the-line starting, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. This assembly meets NEMA standards and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
