This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP, WEG TEFC motor in a 143 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard protecting a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly has a PEI value of 0.87.
