This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, preventing contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of ceramic seat halves and EPT rubber components permits operation at pressures up to 125 PSI. Integrally cast mounting feet support the volute, which incorporates pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections. The pump assembly allows for maintenance without disturbing existing system piping.
This 25 HP, Premium Efficiency, TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, incorporates Aegis Grounding, and utilizes 380-460V, 3PH power with a DOE PEI of 0.46. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
