This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes an integrally cast mounting foot.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor premium efficiency TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and uses a NEMA 254 T-frame. This assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the motor to the pump. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards, and the pump system has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
