This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid movement. Its dry shaft construction incorporates a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, preventing contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly comprises a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber, engineered for operation at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI without a wear ring.
The motor assembly utilizes a 15 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, power rated for 200-230V 3PH, achieving a DOE PEI of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
