This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing with an 11" nominal impeller diameter and a bronze wear ring. The rotating assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze impeller. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding device. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This assembly has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
