This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This configuration supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The design uses a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 60 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 364 T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with premium efficiency and an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is mounted on a structural steel base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump is rated with a PEI of 0.93 and uses across-the-line starting.
