This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
The pump is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 215 T frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply, featuring Across the Line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupling connects the pump to the motor. This equipment has a DOE PEI value of 0.91 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment.
