This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The casing is constructed of cast iron and houses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump uses a dry shaft design that incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 324TS frame. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards with a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
