This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel 9-1/2" nominal impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is configured with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 284 JM frame with feet and supports a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements, offers premium efficiency according to MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features a 40°C ambient temperature rating and counter-clockwise rotation. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
