This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with an integrated bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP, 200V/60Hz/3PH TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame. The assembly features greasable bearings and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, with power transmitted via a Woods coupler. This motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards (MG1-12.55) and the pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.81.
