This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve within a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. This unit utilizes greasable bearings and is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor is housed in a NEMA 254T frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding, CCW rotation, and 40°C ambient temperature capability. A standard Woods flexible coupler connects the motor to the pump.
