This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates venting.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a Super E Premium Efficiency model that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
