This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 184T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It utilizes a Woods flexible coupler for the motor connection and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
