This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction port and a 5" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter made of bronze. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F for clean water applications. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 284T frame. The power supply requirement is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler for the drive connection. The pump starting option is configured as across the line. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
