This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F for clean water applications. The assembly uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 145T NEMA frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and uses across-the-line starting. The motor complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base featuring an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler covered by a coupler guard. The bearing frame uses greasable bearings, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
